Department of Homeland Security Blue Campaign is a national public awareness campaign, designed to educate the public, law enforcement and other industry partners to recognize the indicators of human trafficking, and how to appropriately respond to possible cases. Blue Campaign works closely with DHS Components to create general awareness training and materials for law enforcement and others to increase detection of human trafficking, and to identify victims.
Herman Law represents victims of sexual abuse in civil cases. Their attorneys have extensive experience advocating for survivors of sexual abuse, exploitation and rape.
Living in Liberty offers a secure safe house for victims of human sex trafficking and does street outreach with victims on the streets.
National Human Trafficking Hotline connects victims and survivors of sex and labor trafficking with services and supports to get help and stay safe. The National Hotline also receives tips about potential situations of sex and labor trafficking and facilitates reporting that information to the appropriate authorities in certain cases. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children helps find missing children, reduces child sexual exploitation, and prevents child victimization.
PAAR (Pittsburgh Action Against Rape) is one of the oldest rape crisis centers in the country. PAAR has provided services to Allegheny County for more than 43 years.
